The trademark in Azerbaijan is valid for ten years from the filing date. A trademark may be renewed for successive periods of 10 years within 12 months before the expiration date. It is possible to renew a trademark within a grace period of six months after the expiration date on condition that a surcharge is paid. Reinstatement of a lapsed trademark after grace period expiration is not possible.
