Kuwait, officially the State of Kuwait, is a country situated in the north-west of the Persian Gulf between Iraq on the north and Saudi Arabia on the south. The country’s population amounts to 4.5 million on the territory of 6,880 square miles. Kuwait is a constitutional monarchy governed by the emir. Kuwait is rich in oil and natural gas and, therefore, has a petroleum-based economy.
