An individual may now apply for a trademark in Qatar

Qatari trademark legislation has undergone changes. Starting from November 15, 2017, an individual may apply for a trademark application. Previously, a trademark application in Qatar may have been filed by a company only.

According to the law, it is currently required to provide a Power of Attorney, which has to be legalized by the Consulate of Qatar.
