Trademarks in Lithuania are valid for 10 years from the filing date. Trademark registration may be renewed by the rights holder for a 10-year period unlimited number of times. A request for renewal should be filed within the last six months of the trademark validity. Late payment is possible within a period of six months after expiration of the validity term by paying a 50% surcharge. Reinstatement of a lapsed trademark after a six-month grace period is not possible.
