Japan joins DesignView

The Japan Patent Office (JPO) has joined the DesignView search tool as of December 4, 2017, and thus became the 62nd participating office.

Having acquired data about more than 525.000 JPO designs, the DesignView has currently more than 13.2 million designs at the disposal.

According to the statistics, the DesignView is mostly used by the users from the UK, Spain and Germany. From the moment of its launch on November 19, 2012, the tool has assisted the users from 159 countries in more than 3.1 million searches.
