Refund And Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy complements the Terms of Use. It stipulates when refunds can be requested, clarifies the procedures, and offers a straightforward process for all parties. Our company strives to resolve disputes as soon as possible; however, different services may have varying refund terms, and some services may not be eligible for refunds under certain conditions. 1. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds will be issued when services cannot be performed due to circumstances arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the user, and/or missed procedural deadlines, leading to the inability to provide the ordered services, and/or pay the required official fees. Refunds may also be considered in cases of unforeseen events beyond the control of IP-Coster and its partner agents (e.g., strikes, blackouts, floods) that disrupt the completion of services. In such cases, refunds will be issued after thorough review of the situation, less any non-recoverable third-party fees or fees for the services already rendered.

If a client decides not to proceed with a service after payment, a refund may be granted based on the timing of the cancellation. Full service fee refunds are typically issued if the cancellation is made before any work on the project has commenced. If services have been initiated, partial refunds may be issued, with deductions for completed work and non-recoverable third-party fees incurred.

2. Exclusions

We maintain transparency in our services by providing detailed information on refundable and non-refundable costs. Specifically, the processing fees and IP-Coster fees for handling the request are non-refundable. These fees are relatively minimal and critical for supporting the administrative functions and technical operations of the platform.

Certain services or fees, such as government fees already paid, are generally non-refundable. However, in specific jurisdictions, it may be possible to request a refund of these fees. Should the applicant choose to pursue this option, additional charges for the filing of the corresponding request will apply.

Translation fees are, in most cases, non-refundable once the work has been completed. However, if the translation is still in progress or has not yet begun, refunds may be considered. The refundable amount will be determined based on the extent of work completed.

Additionally, the costs associated with the payment service provider and/or banking institution commissions are also non-refundable.

3. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, clients must submit a formal request within 30 days of payment, or within 10 days of the IP-Coster notification regarding failure to provide the ordered service for the reasons mentioned in Paragraph 1 of this Refund and Cancellation Policy. Requests for a refund should include a detailed explanation of the reason for the refund, along with any supporting documentation.

Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Once reviewed, clients will be informed of the outcome within 5 business days. Refunds, if approved, will be processed as soon as possible, but not later than 30 business days.

4. Method of Refund

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used by the client at the time of the transaction. We support several secure payment methods, including bank transfers, PayPal, and major credit or debit cards, ensuring a flexible and straightforward refund process for the user. The refund will only be credited to the account associated with the original payer, and clients will receive confirmation once the transaction has been processed.
