Abstract[English]
Present invention provides a transmission casing (100) for a vehicle. The transmission casing (100) comprises a housing (102) adapted to accommodate one or more transmission components (100a). The housing (102) comprises a first portion (104) adapted to receive an input shaft from a prime mover of the vehicle and a second portion (106) disposed at a distance from the first position (104). The second portion (106) is adapted to support an axle shaft (118) of one or more wheels. An insert (108) comprising a body portion (108a) is mounted on the second portion (106) of the housing (102). A shaft support portion (108b) extends from the body portion (108a) and is adapted to support the axle shaft (118) of the one or more wheels. The transmission casing (100) is capable of accommodating one or more wheels of different sizes without the need for replacement, while being inexpensive.[French]
La présente invention concerne un carter de transmission (100) destiné à un véhicule. Le carter de transmission (100) comprend un boîtier (102) conçu pour recevoir un ou plusieurs composants de transmission (100a). Le boîtier (102) comprend une première partie (104) conçue pour recevoir un arbre d'entrée provenant d'un moteur principal du véhicule et une seconde partie (106) disposée à une certaine distance de la première position (104).
