South Korea: Amendments to the Patent Act

Pursuant to the amended Patent Act it is possible to file a divisional application as well as to obtain 12-month grace period at any time prior to the patent being registered. Extended terms have been implemented to facilitate patent prosecution. Said amendments came into effect on July 29, 2015.
