DesignView and TMview gain new participants

Within the first four months of 2018, four new national IP offices became the members of DesignView and TMview, which are the tools developed for an absolutely free and convenient search for existing designs and trademarks of participating offices. 

 

The Indian Intellectual Property Office joined DesignView to share its design information as of January 19, 2018.

 

The Intellectual Property Office of Montenegro and the Chilean National Institute of Industrial Property acceded to the TMview tool on March 12 and April 26, 2018, respectively.

 

Starting from April 23, 2018, the Jordanian Industrial Property Protection Directorate provides access to its trademark and design information on both DesignView and TMview.

 

Having India and Jordan on board, the DesignView currently holds over 13.5 million designs and includes information from 64 offices. After the accession of Montenegro, Chile and Jordan, TMview comprises over 49.7 million trademarks and incorporates data from 65 offices around the globe.
