Armenia general info
Armenia, officially the Republic of Armenia, is a landlocked, mountainous country in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia. Located at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe, it borders Turkey to the west, Georgia to the north, Azerbaijan to the east, and Iran and the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan to the south. The capital of Armenia is Yerevan with a population of about 1,093,485. Armenian is the only official language even though Russian is widely used, especially in education, and could be considered as a de facto "second language". Armenia is a member of the Eurasian Patent Convention.
