Abstract[English] A dressing for absorbing compressive and shear force on soft tissue. The dressing can include internal layers that slide with respect to each other to absorb frictional energy. The friction coefficients of the materials and the sliding displacement of the layers can enhance the ability of the dressing to absorb mechanical energy.
