Abstract[English]
The disclosure includes vehicle-mounting devices to mount one or more utility locator devices to a vehicle for use in locating and mapping buried utility lines. Such vehicle-mounting devices may improve over other vehicle-mounting devices known in the art by preventing damage to associated utility locator devices as well as the vehicle mounting device. Further, such devices may be included in vehicle-based locate systems as well as in a computer implemented method for utility line positions and characteristics using Artificial Intelligence (AI).[French]
