Abstract[English]
A portable platform accessory for linear-pull weight machines which allows a user to engage in a variety of vertical resistance exercises at a distance away from a linear-pull weight machine at a location convenient for the user. This accessory allows for addition of belt squats, dead lifts, bicep curls, and other vertical resistance exercises on linear-pull weight machines that do not come equipped with those exercises or for which performance of those exercises close to the linear-pull weight machine is inconvenient. Further, due to its portability, this accessory can be placed in a variety of locations at a distance from the linear- pull weight machine, adding belt squats, dead lifts, bicep curls, and other vertical resistance exercises even where the linear-pull weight machine is in confined spaces where these exercises could not otherwise be performed or would be inconvenient due to space restrictions.[French]
L'invention concerne un accessoire de plateforme portable pour des appareils de musculation à traction linéaire qui permet à un utilisateur d'accomplir divers exercices de résistance verticale à une certaine distance d'un appareil de musculation à traction linéaire à un emplacement commode pour l'utilisateur. Cet accessoire permet d'ajouter des squats avec ceinture, des soulevés avec barre, des flexions des biceps et d'autres exercices de résistance verticale sur des appareils de musculation à traction linéaire qui ne sont pas équipés pour ces exercices ou pour lesquels il est peu pratique d'effectuer ces exercices à proximité de l'appareil de musculation à traction linéaire. En outre, grâce à sa portabilité, cet accessoire peut être placé à différents emplacements à une certaine distance de l'appareil de musculation à traction linéaire, en ajoutant des squats avec ceinture, des soulevés avec barre, des flexions des biceps et d'autres exercices de résistance verticale même lorsque l'appareil de musculation à traction linéaire se trouve dans des espaces confinés où ces exercices ne pourraient sinon pas être effectués ou ne seraient pas pratiques en raison de restrictions d'espace.
