Abstract[English]
A smartwatch device comprising a housing to accommodate at least a plurality of components of a smartwatch unit and a screen, wherein said housing has a cover to cover at least a portion of the screen and wherein said cover is openable and/or closable, and wherein said smartwatch unit includes a near-field communication ("NFC") reader and wherein said cover includes at least a first NFC tag and a second NFC tag, and wherein upon detecting the first tag by the NFC reader, the smartwatch system assumes that the cover is in an open position, and wherein upon detecting the second tag by the NFC reader, the smartwatch system assumes that the cover is in a closed position.[French]
