Abstract[English] Systems, methods, and software of adapting an application service. In one embodiment, a Radio Access Network (RAN) controller (404) of a RAN (102) is configured to provide radio service to User Equipment (UE) (106). The RAN controller receives a request from an application service (410) for performance metrics (702) of an application service flow (512) between the application service and an application client hosted by the UE. The RAN controller receives an identification token (701) from the application service that identifies one or more data radio bearers (504) of the RAN serving the application service flow, receives a report message from one or more RAN nodes (402) of the RAN containing the performance metrics for the data radio bearers, and provides the performance metrics to the application service indexed by the identification token.
