Abstract[English]
The present invention relates to a laser device, comprising a passive optical cavity and a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) optically coupled to the optical cavity. The optical cavity includes a plurality of waveguides disposed between an input port and an output port of the optical cavity and a Sagnac reflector adjacent to the output port. At least one of the waveguides is a rib waveguide formed in a spiral configuration.[French]
La présente invention concerne un dispositif laser comprenant une cavité optique passive et un amplificateur optique à semi-conducteur (SOA) couplé optiquement à la cavité optique. La cavité optique comprend une pluralité de guides d'ondes disposés entre un port d'entrée et un port de sortie de la cavité optique et un réflecteur Sagnac adjacent au port de sortie. Au moins l'un des guides d'ondes est un guide d'ondes à nervures formé dans une configuration en spirale.
