Abstract[English]
The present invention relates to the detection of faults and particularly relates to a system for detecting earth faults in a photovoltaic system (PVS). The method carried out by the system comprises: referencing the PVS to earth; balancing the potential difference between (+) and (-) against earth; detecting earth fault current; limiting the fault current to values that do not affect the continuity of the electricity generation service; identifying the circuit or branch of the PVS with the earth fault; preventing the PVS from disconnecting as a result of the earth fault; and generating an alert signal to report or inform of the existence of an earth fault.[Spanish]
La presente invención se refiere a detección de fallas y particularmente se refiere a un sistema para la detección de fallas a tierra en un sistema fotovoltaico (SFV). El procedimiento ejecutado por el sistema comprende: referenciar el SFV a tierra; equilibrar la diferencia de potencial de (+) y (-) contra tierra; detectar la corriente de una falla a tierra; limitar la corriente de falla a valores que no afecten la continuidad del servicio de generación de energía eléctrica; identificar el circuito o rama del SFV que presenta una falla a tierra; evitar la desconexión del SFV por causa de una falla a tierra; y generar una señal de alarma para reportar o informar que existe una falla a tierra.[French]
La présente invention concerne la détection de défauts et, en particulier, un système de détection de défauts à la terre dans un système photovoltaïque (SPV). Le procédé mis en oeuvre par ledit système comprend les étapes consistant à : référencer le SPV à la terre ; équilibrer la différence de potentiel de (+) et (-) par rapport à la terre ; détecter le courant d'un défaut à la terre ; limiter le courant de défaut à des valeurs qui ne nuisent pas à la continuité du service de génération d'énergie électrique ; identifier le circuit ou la branche du SPV qui présente un défaut à la terre ; éviter la déconnexion du SPV pour cause de défaut à la terre ; et générer un signal d'alarme afin de notifier ou d’informer de l’existence d'un défaut à la terre.
