Abstract[English]
A tissue containment system comprises a flexible sleeve having a first opening, a second opening, and a body extending therebetween that defines an isolated interior for receiving excised tissue. The first opening is larger than the second opening, facilitating the passage of tissue through the first opening to the interior. The sleeve is configured to span a pelvic cavity, with the first opening positioned in a first cavity opening ( such as a vaginal opening or an abdominal incision) and the second opening positioned in a second cavity opening ( such as a vaginal opening or an abdominal incision), thereby isolating the contained tissue from the surrounding cavity.[French]
La présente invention concerne un système de confinement de tissus qui comprend un manchon flexible ayant une première ouverture, une seconde ouverture et un corps s'étendant entre celles-ci qui délimite un intérieur isolé destiné à recevoir des tissus excisés. La première ouverture est plus grande que la seconde ouverture, ce qui facilite le passage de tissus à travers la première ouverture vers l'intérieur. Le manchon est configuré pour couvrir une cavité pelvienne, la première ouverture étant positionnée dans une première ouverture de cavité ( telle qu'une ouverture vaginale ou une incision abdominale) et la seconde ouverture étant positionnée dans une seconde ouverture de cavité ( telle qu'une ouverture vaginale ou une incision abdominale), isolant ainsi le tissu contenu de la cavité environnante.
