A stable oral liquid pharmaceutical formulation of clonidine is disclosed, comprising clonidine hydrochloride and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, wherein the formulation has buffer strength higher than 150 millimolar. A process for the preparation of said formulation is also disclosed.[French]
