The present invention relates to a system (100) for assisting a driver of the vehicle (118). The system (100) comprising one or more sensors (101), a control unit (104). The one or more sensors (101) being configured to detect a first set of pre-defined parameters. The control unit (104) coupled to the one or more sensors (101). The control unit (104) is configured to determine one or more roll-over parameters of the vehicle (118) based on the first set of pre-defined parameters. The control unit (104) is configured to perform a first set of pre-defined operations when the one or more roll-over parameters of the vehicle (118) are between a minimum threshold value and a maximum threshold value. The control unit (104) is configured to perform a second set of pre-defined operations when the one or more roll-over parameters exceeds a maximum threshold value.[French]
