Abstract[English]
An ostial stent with ostial stent delivery system to provide complete coverage of ostium of the branch vessel to be stented along with no or minimal unwanted protrusion of stent or part of the stent in the main vessel is disclosed. It features an inner tube (5), crimped ostial stent (6a) mounted over an inflatable semi-compliant balloon (7a), wherein the proximal end of said stent is slanted in shape with an elliptical cross-section, and a stretchable side tube connector (12) configured to attach the proximal part of side tube (11) to the bare area (40) of the balloon where the stent is not mounted.[French]
L'invention concerne une endoprothèse ostiale dotée d'un système de pose d'endoprothèse ostiale destinée à recouvrir complètement l'ostium du vaisseau secondaire devant recevoir une endoprothèse, et ce, sans saillie indésirable ou avec une saillie indésirable minimale de l'endoprothèse ou d'une partie de l'endoprothèse dans le vaisseau principal. Elle comprend un tube interne (5), une endoprothèse ostiale sertie (6a) montée sur un ballonnet semi-élastique gonflable (7a), l'extrémité proximale de ladite endoprothèse étant de forme inclinée et présentant une section transversale elliptique, et un connecteur de tube latéral extensible (12) conçu pour fixer la partie proximale du tube latéral (11) à la zone nue (40) du ballonnet là où l'endoprothèse n'est pas montée.
