Abstract[English]
A pneumatic system has first and second electrically operated air dryers, each couplable to a compressor through a selection valve. Each electrically operated air dryer can be operated in (i) a loading mode in which the compressor is driven in a drive mode and compressed air is driven through the dryer to one or more consumers and (ii) a non-loading mode in which the EOD inlet connected to the atmosphere by the discharge valve. A pneumatic logic control arrangement is provided for placing the compressor into an energy saving idle mode only when both the first and second electrically operated air dryers are operated in a non-loading mode.[French]
L'invention concerne un système pneumatique qui comprend un premier et un second sécheurs d'air à commande électrique, chacun pouvant être couplé à un compresseur par l'intermédiaire d'une vanne de sélection. Chaque sécheur d'air à commande électrique peut fonctionner dans (i) un mode de chargement dans lequel le compresseur est entraîné dans un mode d'entraînement et de l'air comprimé est entraîné à travers le sécheur vers un ou plusieurs consommateurs et (ii) un mode de non-chargement dans lequel l'entrée d'EOD est reliée à l'atmosphère par la vanne de décharge.
