Described herein is a system and method of preventing or treating a neurodegenerative disease including administering pharmacological agents and/or electrical stimulations and/or mechanical stimulations to a person in which the stimulation causes modulation in outflow of cerebrospinal fluid through superficial cervical lymphatic vessels.[French]
