An apparatus configured to: receive at least one mapping between one or more quality requirements for positioning estimation, and one or more measurement requirements for the positioning estimation; receive a request to perform positioning measurements, wherein the request comprises at least one of: at least one measurement requirement of the one or more measurement requirements, or at least one quality requirement of the one or more quality requirements; and determine whether to perform at least one positioning measurement based, at least partially, on the received mapping, the received request, and at least one energy requirement of the apparatus.[French]
