Abstract[English]
An apparatus for perfusing and transporting an organ for transplant. The apparatus includes a portable base and a cassette removably coupled to the portable base, the cassette including an organ supporting chamber adapted to sterilely store and transport the organ, and a perfusate chamber adapted to be filled with perfusate. The apparatus also includes a cassette interface coupled to the portable base and including a fluid line, and a perfusion circuit configured to maintain the organ. The perfusion circuit includes a bubble trap assembly disposed in a fluid line and having a housing with a top portion and a hydrophobic filter disposed in the top portion. So configured, any gas phase material in the perfusate in the bubble trap assembly floats toward and contacts the hydrophobic filter, flowing through the hydrophobic filter and venting out of the perfusate.[French]
L'invention concerne un appareil pour perfuser et transporter un organe pour une transplantation. L'appareil comprend une base portable et une cassette accouplée amovible à la base portable, la cassette comprenant une chambre de support d'organe conçue pour stocker et transporter stérilement l'organe, et une chambre de perfusat conçue pour être remplie de perfusat. L'appareil comprend également une interface de cassette couplée à la base portable et comprenant une ligne de fluide, et un circuit de perfusion configuré pour maintenir l'organe en vie.
