There is provided an apparatus comprising means for providing capability information to an access node of a first network using a first radio access technology, the capability information comprising an indication of at least one band combination supported by the apparatus for a resource usage state, wherein a first band of the at least one band combination is associated with the first radio access technology and a second band of the at least one band combination is associated with a second radio access technology and the first and second bands are non-contiguous wherein the first radio access technology is Long Term Evolution, LTE, or Long Term Evolution Advanced, LTE-A, and the second radio access technology is New Radio, NR, LTE or, LTE-A, establishing a data connection with the access node of the first network and an access node of the second network using component carriers of the at least one band combination, determining to switch a state of resource usage for the data connection, providing an indication to the access node of the first network of the determination to switch and reconfiguring, based on the switch, component carriers at the apparatus.[French]
