Abstract[English] A system comprising: a) a manipulator comprising a distal tip and a proximal end, wherein said proximal end comprises an adaptor with an interface for controlling motions of said distal tip; b) a first manipulator driving unit for connecting with said interface to control movement of said distal tip; c) a translation unit, comprising: i) a linear actuation mechanism for driving said manipulator in linear motion; ii) a parallel moving mechanism for moving said first bevel gear and said second gear along said spline shaft during translation of said manipulator to maintain connection between said manipulator driving unit and said interface.[French] La présente invention concerne un système comprenant : a) un manipulateur comportant une pointe distale et une extrémité proximale, ladite extrémité proximale présentant un adaptateur avec une interface pour commander des mouvements de ladite pointe distale ; b) une première unité d'entraînement de manipulateur destinée à être reliée à ladite interface pour commander le mouvement de ladite pointe distale ; c) une unité de translation, comprenant : i) un mécanisme d'actionnement linéaire pour entraîner ledit manipulateur dans un mouvement linéaire ; ii) un mécanisme de déplacement parallèle pour déplacer un premier engrenage conique et un second engrenage le long d'un arbre cannelé pendant la translation dudit manipulateur pour maintenir une liaison entre ladite unité d'entraînement de manipulateur et ladite interface.
