Abstract[English]
A vaginal system for a female, including an outer ring layer having a first silicone polymer and a core having a second silicone polymer and a progestin. When the vaginal system is positioned in a vagina of the female, an amount of the progestin released per day from the vaginal system is from about 10 μg to about 150 μg during a steady state release period. The vaginal system has from about 10 mg to about 250 mg of the progestin. The vaginal system is configured to release the progestin in the vagina for up to about 365 days or up to about 24 months.[French]
L'invention concerne un système vaginal destiné à une femme, comprenant une couche annulaire externe ayant un premier polymère de silicone et un noyau ayant un second polymère de silicone et de la progestine. Lorsque le système vaginal est situé dans le vagin de la femme, une quantité de progestine libérée par jour à partir du système vaginal est comprise entre environ 10 μg et environ 150 μg pendant une période de libération à état stable.
