Abstract[English]
In some examples there is provided an access node comprising means for: receiving, from a core network node, assistance information for configuring a Radio Access Network, RAN, Notification Area, RNA, for user equipment location reporting when a user equipment is in RRC INACTIVE state; sending, to the user equipment, an indication to transition the user equipment to RRC INACTIVE state and information indicating an RNA, wherein the information indicating the RNA is based on the received assistance information; and sending, to the core network node, location information associated with the user equipment with respect to one or more areas of interest, each area of interest comprising one or more cells.[French]
