A hybrid cable distribution device may have a housing portion, a data distribution portion, and a power management portion. The housing portion may receive an input cable portion, an output data cable portion, and an output power cable portion. The data distribution portion may have a splitter portion that may receive an input optical signal from the input cable portion and may output an optical signal to an output optical cable portion. The power management portion may receive input power from the input cable portion and may output power to an output power cable portion. The power management portion may distribute power to an optical local area network component portion. The data distribution portion and the power management portion may permit alternative data and power pathways so as to provide enhanced installation of hybrid cabling in an optical local area network.[French]
