Abstract[English]
A dental overlay device includes a tooth wrap and a guide block extending from the tooth wrap. The tooth wrap is configured for contacting one or more teeth to secure the device in a fixed position relative to a tooth to be treated. A passageway of the guide block is configured to receive and contact the overlay device and thereby limit movements of the overlay device in the removal of the predetermined portion of the structure of the tooth to be treated. A tooth opening of the guide block is in communication with the passageway and is configured to expose only a buccal surface of the tooth to be treated such that only the buccal surface is in communication with the passageway. The overlay device is fabricated based on a computer-aided design model of the overlay device.[French]
Un dispositif de recouvrement dentaire comprend une enveloppe de dent et un bloc de guidage s'étendant à partir de l'enveloppe de dent.
