The present disclosure concerns a fusion polypeptide for making acetyl-phosphate from glucose, a recombinant yeast host cell expressing the fusion polypeptide as well as methods of using the fusion polypeptide. The fusion polypeptide comprising (i) a glucose-6-phosphate isomerase moiety and (ii) a phosphoketolase moiety.[French]
