Abstract[English]
Systems and methods are provided for a bodily fluid management system for pumping bodily fluid such as lymph. The bodily fluid management system may include an implantable pump with a rotor having a magnetic portion and inlet and outlet tubes that connect to a fluid chamber. The fluid chamber has a volume that can be selectively reduced or increased via the rotor. The rotor is designed to periodically open and close kinking valves at each of the inlet and outlet tube to permit bodily fluid to enter the fluid chamber during an intake cycle and exit the fluid chamber during a discharge cycle. The magnetic portion of the rotor may be caused to rotate by an external controller that is positioned outside of the body and adjacent to the pump. The external controller may have a magnet that magnetically interfaces with the rotor to cause the rotor to rotate.[French]
L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés pour un système de gestion de fluide corporel afin de pomper un fluide corporel tel que la lymphe. Le système de gestion de fluide corporel peut comprendre une pompe implantable pourvue d'un rotor présentant une partie magnétique et des tubes d'entrée et de sortie qui se raccordent à une chambre à fluide. La chambre à fluide présente un volume qui peut être sélectivement réduit ou augmenté par l'intermédiaire du rotor. Le rotor est conçu pour ouvrir et fermer périodiquement des valves à coude au niveau de chacun des tubes d'entrée et de sortie afin de permettre à un fluide corporel d'entrer dans la chambre à fluide pendant un cycle d'admission et de sortir de la chambre à fluide pendant un cycle d'évacuation. La partie magnétique du rotor peut être amenée à tourner par un dispositif de commande externe qui est positionné à l'extérieur du corps et adjacent à la pompe.
