Abstract[English]
Existing rigid inflatable boats (RIBs ) consist of a rigid hull surrounded by an inflatable tubular section with a round profile. The cylindrical tube, due to its geometric shape, signi ficantly reduces the usable space on board and limits design versatility. The proposed innovation concerns a type of inflatable boat composed of a rigid hull surrounded by an inflatable tubular section with a rectangular profile, obtained using a commercially available material called drop stitch which guarantees flat surfaces. The rectangular tubular section, due to its geometric shape, allows for more space on board and, by varying the ratio between base and height, allows for greater design freedom. Furthermore, the possibility of varying the height o f the tube along its length and the ability to place tubes side by side, as they are made with flat surfaces, greatly expands design freedom and the range of possible applications.[French]
L'invention concerne des bateaux gonflables rigides (RIB) existants qui se composent d'une coque rigide entourée d'une section tubulaire gonflable ayant un profil rond. Le tube cylindrique, en raison de sa forme géométrique, signale de manière significative l'espace utilisable à bord et limite la polyvalence de conception. L'innovation proposée concerne un type de bateau gonflable composé d'une coque rigide entourée d'une section tubulaire gonflable ayant un profil rectangulaire, obtenue à l'aide d'un matériau disponible dans le commerce appelé maille coulée qui garantit des surfaces plates. La section tubulaire rectangulaire, en raison de sa forme géométrique, permet plus d'espace à bord et, en faisant varier le rapport entre la base et la hauteur, permet une plus grande liberté de conception. En outre, la possibilité de faire varier la hauteur du tube le long de sa longueur et la capacité de placer des tubes côte à côte, au fur et à mesure qu'ils sont fabriqués avec des surfaces plates, étend considérablement la liberté de conception et la plage d'applications possibles.
