Abstract[English]
Systems and methods are provided for applying a lubricious coating to a catheter such as a catheter for distal access and/or removing an obstruction from or clot from a blood vessel, e.g., in the neurovasculature. A lubricious coating may be applied to an inner and outer surface of the elongated tube of the catheter. For example, an expandable braid at a distal portion of the catheter may be coated on its inner and outer surfaces to facilitate advancement through the vasculature and slidability of a catheter shaft within the expandable braid.[French]
Sont prévus des systèmes et des procédés pour appliquer un revêtement lubrifiant à un cathéter tel qu'un cathéter pour un accès distal et/ou pour éliminer une obstruction ou un caillot d'un vaisseau sanguin, par exemple, dans le système neurovasculaire. Un revêtement lubrifiant peut être appliqué sur une surface interne et externe du tube allongé du cathéter. Par exemple, le revêtement peut être appliqué sur les surfaces interne et externe d'une tresse extensible se trouvant au niveau d'une partie distale du cathéter afin de faciliter la progression à travers le système vasculaire et la capacité de coulissement d'une tige de cathéter à l'intérieur de la tresse extensible.
