Abstract[English]
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for detecting and localizing a position of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in an environment. Particularly, a management computer can orchestrate the detection and localization of the UAV using base stations that are part of a cellular network infrastructure, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) disposed about the environment, and one or more reference nodes. One or more base stations can transmit detection and localization signals towards one or more RIS instances to direct signals upwards towards UAVs disposed at or above the base stations using various configurations of the RIS instances. Angles of departure or arrival of the localization signal can be used to determine a position of the UAV. After localizing the UAV, a notification message specifying the derived position of the UAV in the environment can be generated.[French]
