Abstract[English] Provided is a method for large-scale production of magnetosomes, the method comprising maintaining in a fermentation vessel under continuous fermentation conditions a fermentation broth comprising magnetotactic bacteria for a duration of at least 100 hours and during said maintaining, providing to said fermentation broth at least one feed composition comprising iron ions and molecules and/or ions of at least 4 selected from the group consisting of lactic acid, ammonia, magnesium, potassium, thiamine, calcium and combinations thereof at an average feed rate of between 10% and 150% of the volume of the fermentation vessel per day; adding oxygen to said fermentation broth in said fermentation vessel; and removing a portion of said fermentation broth comprising said magnetotactic bacteria at an average rate of between 10% and 150% of the fermentation vessel volume per day.[French] La présente invention concerne un procédé de production à grande échelle de magnétosomes, le procédé consistant à maintenir un bouillon de fermentation comprenant des bactéries magnétotactiques dans une cuve de fermentation dans des conditions de fermentation continue pendant une durée d'au moins 100 heures et, selon ledit procédé, à fournir à ce bouillon de fermentation au moins une composition d'alimentation comprenant des ions de fer et des molécules et/ou des ions d'au moins 4 choisis dans le groupe constitué de l'acide lactique, de l'ammoniac, du magnésium, du potassium, de la thiamine, du calcium et des combinaisons de ceux-ci à un taux d'alimentation moyen compris entre 10 % et 150 % du volume de la cuve de fermentation par jour ; à ajouter de l'oxygène audit bouillon de fermentation dans ladite cuve de fermentation ; et à éliminer une partie dudit bouillon de fermentation comprenant lesdites bactéries magnétotactiques à un taux moyen compris entre 10 % et 150 % du volume de la cuve de fermentation par jour.
