Abstract[English]
A computer-implemented method to background noise from a medical image comprising voxels, each voxel having a voxel intensity, the method comprising: generating a mask based on the medical image, wherein the mask comprises a foreground portion designating foreground voxels, a background portion designating background voxels, and a perimeter separating the foreground portion from the background portion; designating a perimeter portion of the mask, the perimeter portion enclosing the perimeter, a subset of the foreground portion, and a subset of the background portion; designating a threshold for the perimeter portion to separate voxels based on voxel intensity; filtering the medical image with the mask and the threshold to obtain a filtered image; and displaying the filtered image on a display.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur visant à supprimer un bruit de fond d’une image médicale comportant des voxels, chaque voxel présentant une intensité de voxel, le procédé comprenant : la génération d’un masque d’après l’image médicale, le masque comportant une partie d’avant-plan désignant des voxels d’avant-plan, une partie d’arrière-plan désignant des voxels d’arrière-plan, et un périmètre séparant la partie d’avant-plan de la partie d’arrière-plan ; la désignation d’une partie de périmètre du masque, la partie de périmètre renfermant le périmètre, un sous-ensemble de la partie d’avant-plan, et un sous-ensemble de la partie d’arrière-plan ; la désignation d’un seuil pour la partie de périmètre pour séparer des voxels suivant l’intensité de voxels ; le filtrage de l’image médicale avec le masque et le seuil pour obtenir une image filtrée ; et l’affichage de l’image filtrée sur un afficheur.
