Abstract[English]
An agricultural baler having a pickup assembly configured to take cut plant material from the ground and move the plant material to a baling chamber and compress the plant material with a reciprocating plunger into a growing bale. The baling chamber is formed with a floor, a roof and opposing side walls. The baler includes a stationary knife mounted in the baling chamber extending vertically between the floor and the roof. A dividing partition extends rearward from the knife from the roof to the floor and intermediate the side walls of the baling chamber such that plant material is split by movement of the plunger relative to the knife and pushed into first and second bale-forming compartments to simultaneously form a first bale in the first bale-forming compartment on one side of the dividing partition and a second bale in the second bale-forming compartment on an opposite side of the dividing partition.[French]
L’invention concerne une presse à balles agricole ayant un ensemble de ramassage conçu pour ramasser sur le sol un matériau végétal coupé et déplacer le matériau végétal vers une chambre de mise en balles et comprimer le matériau végétal avec un piston à mouvement alternatif en une balle en croissance. La chambre de mise en balles est formée avec un plancher, un toit et des parois latérales opposées. La presse à balles comprend un couteau fixe monté dans la chambre de mise en balles s'étendant verticalement entre le plancher et le toit. Une cloison de séparation s'étend vers l'arrière à partir du couteau depuis le toit jusqu'au plancher et entre les parois latérales de la chambre de mise en balles de telle sorte que le matériau végétal soit divisé par le mouvement du piston par rapport au couteau et poussé dans des premier et second compartiments de formation de balles pour former simultanément une première balle dans le premier compartiment de formation de balles sur un côté de la cloison de séparation et une seconde balle dans le second compartiment de formation de balles sur un côté opposé de la cloison de séparation.
