Abstract[English]
A method for treating a patient's skin is provided. The method includes identifying at least one region of said patient's skin in need of treatment. The method includes forming at least one interference of at least one tissue portion in said region of skin, thereby generating at least one scar-like fibrous tissue in said region of said patient's skin. Rotational Fractional Resection ("RFR") is a procedure which may be used to achieve focal aesthetic contouring by removing fractions of lax skin and excess fat tissue from a patient. Skin may be removed by the use of a rotating micro-coring punch, which is a hollow, sharpened tube which excises full thickness dermal resections. Such punch has been adapted to treat, among other conditions, scars, acne scars, lines, wrinkles, stretch marks, melasma, and to improve skin texture and tighten the skin.[French]
L'invention concerne une méthode pour traiter la peau d'un patient. La méthode comprend l'identification d'au moins une région de ladite peau du patient nécessitant un traitement. La méthode consiste à former au moins une interférence d'au moins une portion de tissu dans ladite région de la peau, générant ainsi au moins un tissu fibreux cicatriciel dans ladite région de la peau du patient. La résection fractionnée en rotation (« RFR ») est une procédure qui peut être utilisée pour obtenir un contour esthétique focal en retirant des fractions de peau relâchée et de tissu adipeux excédentaire d'un patient. La peau peut être enlevée à l'aide d'un poinçon rotatif de micro-perçage, qui est un tube creux et aiguisé permettant d'effectuer des résections dermiques de pleine épaisseur. Ledit poinçon a été adapté pour traiter, entre autres, les cicatrices, les cicatrices d'acné, les ridules, les rides, les vergetures, les mélasmes, et pour améliorer la texture de la peau et la resserrer.
