Abstract[English] The present invention introduces a solution to the challenges encountered when printing overhanging, fragile, and complex structures in Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) metal three-dimensional (3D) printing by utilizing graphite as the material for support structures. In FFF metal 3D printing, selecting suitable support structures becomes problematic due to the requirement of a sintering capability matching that of the primary metal, easy removal of the support structure and no damage to the primary metal material. Graphite is chosen as the ideal material for support structures due to its compatible sintering window, thermal expansion properties, and ease of separation from the primary structure after sintering.[French] La présente invention propose une solution aux défis rencontrés lors de l'impression de structures en surplomb, fragiles et complexes au cours de l'impression tridimensionnelle (3D) métallique de fabrication à filament fondu (FFF) grâce à l'utilisation de graphite en tant que matériau pour des structures de support. Au cours de l'impression 3D métallique FFF, la sélection de structures de support appropriées devient problématique en raison des exigences suivantes : capacité de frittage correspondant à celle du métal primaire, retrait aisé de la structure de support et absence de dommage du matériau métallique primaire. Le graphite est choisi en tant que matériau idéal pour des structures de support en raison de sa fenêtre de frittage compatible, de ses propriétés de dilatation thermique, et de sa facilité de séparation de la structure primaire après frittage.
