Abstract[English]
A method for producing embedded hydrogel contact lenses comprises at least the following steps: obtaining an insert made of a crosslinked polymeric material comprising iniferter moieties covalently attached thereto; placing the insert in a female lens mold half; dosing an amount of a lens-forming composition to immerse the insert in the female lens mold half; closing tightly a male lens mold half onto the top of the female lens mold half halves to form a molding assembly; curing the lens-forming composition in the molding assembly to form an embedded hydrogel lens precursor which comprises a bulk hydrogel material formed the lens-forming composition and the insert that is embedded therein and covalently linked to the bulk hydrogel material.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé de production de lentilles de contact noyées dans un hydrogel comprenant au moins les étapes suivantes, consistant à : obtenir un insert constitué d'un matériau polymère réticulé comprenant des fragments d'iniferter fixés de manière covalente à celui-ci ; placer l'insert dans une moitié de moule de lentille femelle ; doser une quantité d'une composition de formation de lentille pour immerger l'insert dans la moitié de moule de lentille femelle ; fermer de manière étanche une moitié de moule de lentille mâle sur le dessus des moitiés de moule de lentille femelle pour former un ensemble de moulage ; durcir la composition de formation de lentille dans l'ensemble de moulage pour former un précurseur de lentille noyée dans un hydrogel qui comprend un matériau d'hydrogel en vrac formé à partir de la composition de formation de lentille et l'insert qui est noyé dans celle-ci et lié de manière covalente au matériau d'hydrogel en vrac.
