Abstract[English]
A power meter may determine pedaling cadence using acceleration data from the accelerometer. When the power meter determines a first condition indicative that quality of the cadence is below a desired level, the power meter activates the gyroscope and determines the cadence using rotational data from the gyroscope. When the power meter subsequently determines that the first condition no longer remains, the power meter deactivates the gyroscope and determines the cadence using the acceleration data from the accelerometer.[French]
Un compteur de puissance peut déterminer une cadence de pédalage à l'aide de données d'accélération provenant de l'accéléromètre.
