Abstract[English]
The present disclosure relates to a method for styling mammalian hair fibers. The method comprises applying to the hair a hair styling composition comprising a phenol-based monomer and a water-soluble hygroscopic agent, allowing the monomers and water-soluble hygroscopic agents to penetrate within the hair and curing the monomers to internally form a polymer able to overcome the tendency of the hair to revert to its native shape. When curing is performed while the hair is in a desired modified shape, the resulting polymers may maintain the modified shape, whilst the hygroscopic agents may prolong the hair styling effect. Compositions adapted for such hair styling and kits allowing to prepare the same are also disclosed.[French]
La présente invention concerne un procédé de coiffage de fibres capillaires de mammifère. Le procédé comprend l'application sur les cheveux d'une composition de coiffure comprenant un monomère à base de phénol et un agent hygroscopique soluble dans l'eau, permettant aux monomères et aux agents hygroscopiques solubles dans l'eau de pénétrer dans les cheveux et de durcir les monomères pour former intérieurement un polymère capable de surmonter la tendance des cheveux à revenir à leur forme native. Lorsque le durcissement est effectué alors que les cheveux sont dans une forme modifiée souhaitée, les polymères résultants peuvent maintenir la forme modifiée, tandis que les agents hygroscopiques peuvent prolonger l'effet de coiffage. L'invention concerne également des compositions adaptées à une telle coiffure et des kits permettant de les préparer.
