Abstract[English]
A puzzle apparatus according to one example comprises a set of at 16 blocks stackable in a 4 by 4 array. The blocks (100) may be physical blocks sized to require full body movement by a user (300) to complete the puzzle. On each block, each face has a background chosen from a set of 4 possible backgrounds and optionally a foreground feature. The possible foreground features include a group of unique features and a group of non-unique features, each of the non-unique features appearing on multiple faces among the blocks. The possible backgrounds, unique features and non-unique features are distributed among the set of blocks such that the set of faces includes unique faces and non-unique faces. A target solution indicator (200) indicates how the blocks are to be stacked (100') to match a target solution. Target solutions are graded according to difficulty levels inherent in the design.[French]
