Abstract[English] A strap buckle comprises a lever arm pivotally connected to a body and pivotable between an open position in which a free end of the strap can be threaded through the buckle, and a closed position in which the strap is fastened by the buckle. A retention mechanism is arranged to retain the lever arm in its open position and the lever arm is arranged to engage the strap such that pulling the free end of the strap to a predetermined level of tension causes the lever arm to move from its open position against the action of the retention mechanism and towards its closed position so as to fasten the strap.[French] Une boucle de sangle comprend un bras de levier en liaison pivot avec un corps et pouvant pivoter entre une position ouverte dans laquelle une extrémité libre de la sangle peut être enfilée à travers la boucle, et une position fermée dans laquelle la sangle est immobilisée par la boucle.
