Abstract[English]
The invention relates to determining, by a receiver, a precoding for a transmission from a transmitter to the receiver. The method comprises, for at least one given number of spatial layers v, selecting (E1), from a beam dictionary (B), a number v + k of beams exhibiting, for example, the best performance with regard to a first performance criterion, where k is a strictly positive integer; and determining (E2) at least two distinct wideband precoding matrices each formed from v beams among the v + k selected beams.[French]
L'invention concerne la détermination par un récepteur d'un précodage pour une transmission d'un émetteur vers ledit récepteur. Le procédé comprend, pour au moins un nombre de couches spatiales v donné la sélection (E1), au sein d'un dictionnaire de faisceaux (B), d'un nombre v + k de faisceaux présentant par exemple les meilleures performances au regard d'un premier critère de performance, avec k un nombre entier strictement positif; et la détermination (E2) d'au moins deux matrices de précodage large bande distinctes formées chacune à partir de v faisceaux parmi lesdits v + k faisceaux sélectionnés.
