Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Anbinden wenigstens eines IP-fähigen Geräts (101, 111) an eine Cloud-basierte Kundenanwendung (81) mit Hilfe einer Cloud-basierten Registrierungsanwendung (91), wobei die Cloud-basierte Kundenanwendung (81) und die Cloud-basierte Registrierungsanwendung (91) dazu ausgebildet sind, über eine Kommunikationsverbindung (20) Daten auszutauschen. Über eine temporär aufgebaute Kommunikationsverbindung (30) überträgt ein erstes IP-fähiges Gerät (111) seine individuellen Kennungen zur Registrierungsanwendung (91), wobei die Registrierungsanwendung (91) diese Kennungen mit Kennungen, die sie von der Kundenanwendung (81) empfangen hat, vergleicht. Bei Übereinstimmung überträgt die Registrierungsanwendung (91) die ebenfalls zuvor von der Kundenanwendung (81) erhaltenen Verbindungsdaten zum ersten IP-fähigen Gerät (111).
