A heater (2) adapted to be electrically connected to an aerosol-generating device (1) configured to generate an aerosol when heat is delivered to an aerosol-forming system (7), said aerosol-forming system (7) comprising one or more aerosol-forming articles (6), characterized in that the heater (2) comprises at least one heating element (201, 202), said at least one heating element (201,202) comprising a heat diffusion element (210), at least two heat sources (212) and at least a base plate (214), said heat diffusion element (210) having a low thermal conductivity, and thermally connected to the at least two heat sources (212), each heat source (212) being electrically controlled to produce heat independently so that to create local controlled heated areas (6a, 6b, 6c) on an outer surface of the heat diffusion element (210), and said base plate serving as a structural foundation, supporting and mechanically unifying heating sources (212).[French]
L’invention concerne un dispositif de chauffage (2) conçu pour être connecté électriquement à un dispositif générateur d'aérosol (1) conçu pour générer un aérosol lorsque de la chaleur est délivrée à un système de formation d'aérosol (7), ledit système de formation d'aérosol (7) comprenant un ou plusieurs articles de formation d'aérosol (6).
