The present invention relates to a dock shelter arrangement (A) for a loading dock (D). Said dock shelter arrangement (A) comprises a dock shelter operation device (100) comprising: an essentially vertically and fixedly arranged elongated support member (140); and a rod configuration (110) arranged along said elongated support member (140). Said dock shelter arrangement (A) comprises a shelter mechanism (200). Said shelter arrangement (A) comprises a hinge arrangement (160) comprising a first hinge member (162) rotatably arranged about said rod configuration (110), an arm member (214) of said shelter mechanism (200) being connected to said rod configuration (110) via said first hinge member (162), wherein, when said shelter mechanism (200) is subjected to a force (F2) exceeding a threshold, said arm member (214) is configured to pivot about the axis of said rod configuration (110) from a non-rotated position to a rotated position, said hinge arrangement (160) being configured such that, when said threshold is no longer exceeded, said second arm member (214) is returned to said non-rotated position.[French]
